Schedule of Events

Please be advised that this Events Schedule is tentative and each event listed below is subject to change due to inclement weather conditions, public health considerations, or the event host's directive. Event information will be updated when it is available.
Dates for some events are presently being coordinated and will be posted here as they become finalized. Thank you for your interest.

February 23-25: NC VHPA will display at the Kinston, NC Freedom Classic baseball tournament (Air Force vs. Navy) at historic Grainger Stadium, 400 East Grainger Avenue, Kinston. Military displays by local veterans groups will be set up throughout the stadium

March 2: NC VHPA Annual Business Meeting 11:30am to 2:pm at the Old Armor Beer Company, 211 West Avenue, Kannapolis.

May 11 and 12: NC VHPA will have helicopters co-mingle with other static displays on the hardstand at the MCAS Cherry Point Air Show, Havelock, NC.

May 24 and 25; NC VHPA will join Military Appreciation activities and performances at the 65th running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

July TBD: World Harvest Church Honor Our Heroes, Roswll, Georgia.

July 2-4: North Carolina;s 4th of July Festival in Southport, NC.

September 13-15: NC VHPA will be at the Burlington Balloon Festival, Cedarock Park, 4242 R. Dean Coleman Road near Burlington, NC. Sponsored by Alamance County Veterans, this fest features hot air balloon launches, vendors, food trucks and other activities for families.

October 12 and 13: The New Bern MumFest is one of the finest award-winning festivals in the state of North Carolina. Once again NC VHPA has been invited to display its helicopters during this great event.

November 10 and 11: NC VHPA will be back with helicopters on the sidewalk in front of Old Armor Beer Company, 211 West Avenue in Kannapolis, NC to participate in its remembrance of Veterans Day.
